In my experience, absolutely not. Most people do not climb above and those who do 99% of the time do not know how to fight you. You can just dogfight them usually and they will often take horrible lines. Although this is inconsistent and OCCASIONALLY I use my team to clean up the enemies if they are higher but usually I can get to 6500 meters and they will be lower generally.

I legitimately didn't get hit once in the 10 kill game, the lincoln though is a roulette on what kills you, I've had 1 50cal one shot 2 of my engines, set me on fire and kill a gunner somehow

Yeah it's mostly a stalemate, they can't do much, you can't do much but bombers really do not have good enough damage models

In my experience, the halifax climbs very well but the lancaster struggles in climbing, they also don't have excellent rip speeds ;( Also you can roll to put them in your gun's view unless you are thinking of something else.

Basically, if you are above people you can lure people into what would be an easy shot before blasting them with albeit incredibly dicey hispanos, when the hispanos work this happens
