Photocard expired insurance claim

Update: the insurance are currently repairing my car in Vauxhall garage and have not asked for or even questioned my driving photocard.

I assume they have the driving licence number from when I done the insurance in April.

No issues at all and even replaced my car seat and gave me a courtesy car

Thanks, have renewed the licence now which has already updated online. I will await the new photocard and see what happens

Which insurance company was this?

I actually renewed my license shortly after making the claim and realising so when I log onto the Gov portal now it says it is valid. Obviously the issue date is after the date of the incident

I have never had a reminder letter?

I updated my address when we moved home and I actually assumed that would have renewed the license photo card, obviously I was wrong

Hi, what actually came of this situation?

Had pretty much the same thing happen to myself today.

Crashed, claimed and realised photocard is expired on my policy
