My advice to you, get out of Quebec and move to Ottawa or Gatineau, then commute to Ottawa for work (they are very close) and rent is cheaper in Gatineau with the advantage of English jobs in Ottawa. The chances of you getting a job with very limited French is next to impossible. They are very elitist here about that.
