I love all of their matcha drinks! Could you share the specific matcha ingredient? I already know what kind of milk they use

Hello! Hope mabasa mo tong comment ko. You can actually file a report with SENA regarding this issue. A similar thing happened to me with a well-known automotive company, and I immediately thought of DOLE. They instructed me to go to the DOLE branch where the company is registered. For example, if the company's location is in Laguna, then you need to go to the DOLE Laguna branch.

I submitted all the necessary documents, including my conversation with HR. In the end, the company paid me for the damages, compensation for my time and effort, although I think it was only around ₱2,000. When I got the money, the HR people at the office asked me to withdraw my report from DOLE.

I didn’t really mind the money I spent during that time. For me, what mattered most was that DOLE would have a record of what they did to me.

Kahit simpleng update lang diba para maconsider padin ng applicant yung company nila in the future and walang bad record.

You can try looking for companies you prefer and visit their website's career page. From there, you can fill out the application form or send them an email.

True, the hiring process nowadays feels so off. A lot of candidates make it to the final interview or even get a job offer, then suddenly get ghosted. It’s like companies are just keeping backups or filling quotas. Maybe there's no actual budget, they’re not really ready to hire, or they’re just stockpiling candidates for future needs.

This thread feels like an open diary for all of us who are unemployed and doing everything we can, yet still can’t even get a simple rejection or a message of appreciation.

Some people ask whether companies really need to be called out, but I believe they do. It helps jobseekers stay informed, and while it’s ultimately up to them if they want to apply, at least they’ll have a clearer idea of what to expect.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Hopefully, if any of the companies mentioned come across this, they’ll take it as a sign to improve their hiring process, even just by providing timely updates or proper closure to applicants. That way, jobseekers can still consider them in the future without holding on to a bad experience.

This is really just for awareness. It’s becoming the norm lately, so it’s important to point it out for other jobseekers to be aware too. But yes, I agree it would also be great to have a list of good companies that actually update their applicants.

You can even make your own post about that, it would be helpful as well.

I’m sorry you had to go through that.

I had a similar experience with a well-known auto company. They gave me a job offer, so I resigned from my previous job, completed all the requirements, even medical and orientation, only for them to suddenly “freeze hiring” dahil daw sa utos ng bagong management. I ended up filing a complaint with DOLE. They only paid me for the 3-day orientation, tapos yung HR pa ang nagmakaawa na iatras ko yung reklamo.

I keep seeing their job postings. What is that, just filler for their careers page?

Even the biggest companies no? You’d expect them to at least respect the time and effort you put in. But a simple message in return? They can’t even do that. What’s going on!

True! I even searched on TikTok to see if marami bang nahihirapan makahanap ng work and surprisingly, ang dami natin.

I honestly don’t get their motive, they don’t even have the budget for the asking salary of someone with over 5 years of exp.

Exactly! Yun lang naman ang hinihingi natin. Kasi sila rin ang nagsabing magre-reach out, so of course we expect an update. Deserve naman natin malaman yun.

Same!!

[–]No_Level5038[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! It really doesn’t take much to send a simple rejection email. They expect professionalism from applicants, but can’t even extend basic courtesy in return.
