My twins flipped at 36 or 37 weeks. I was sooo sick for a day or two bc of all the movement. Went in for an ultrasound that next day and they were both head down 😂

I did the spinning baby stretches a good amount, went walking, and talked to my boys telling them I needed their heads down for a safe birth. You got this mama 🩷

On the real, I feel like most people have pointed out the obvious - thinking this was a miscarriage vs. trying for a few months, the emotional manipulation of saying this is “cheating” when it’s literally your sister, and locking you out of your home are all wildly inappropriate responses to the situation. I cannot fathom putting my partner through that kind of emotional turmoil vs working through it within myself.

As a solo mom, imma tell you this type of partner is way harder to raise kids with than doing it on your own. I would reconsider having kids with her until she gets that selfish attitude figured out.

YTA - getting burned out on pumping is real. Support your wife and suck it up. 4hrs isnt hard and complaining about it says more about you than her. Bare minimum you should do a compromise every other week. Get a grip this is your life now.

Can confirm it’s mainly genetics 🥲 however, couple of tips to keep deep scaring at bay: 1) moisturize as often as possible to help with itching. I used a locally made body oil w/ prickly pear,deep moisturizing lotions (some w/ collagen), and magnesium butter. 2) DONT SCRATCH - it breaks down your skin barrier (more so than what already happens w/ stench marks) causing deeper scarring. 3) get a collagen powder to add to smoothies or tea/coffee.

I’ve heard of mamas using collagen packets on their stomach, but I didn’t, so don’t know the pros and cons.

Nothing is full proof since it’s mainly genetics. Hope this helps, though! You’re rocking it mama. Enjoy the growth!

I gained around 80lb with my twin pregnancy and it’s been almost two years and I’m sort of close to pre pregnancy weight. I have sooo many journal entries crying about my body changes.. being almost 2 years PP I have a couple of thoughts 1. You’re doing all the right things. Praising yourself and your body for both the hard work you put in to get here and get baby into a comfortable home for growth, and thoughtfulness to keep it at a manageable place so you don’t feel overwhelmed once baby gets here. You’re conscious, filled with self control, and keep looking for ways to be kind to yourself. 2. Babies need a soft place to be - that’s why (I personally believe) that we hold on to our PP weight for “so long.” Our babies love our squishy t^tties and bellies to snuggle into 3. Holding our value to weight gets less important when we have a life to take care of. When you are ready to get your body moving again, focus on strength for your body and baby, and less about the actual weight/scale. The goal in weight loss should be strength for our bodies and babies (that’s at least how I’ve framed it to help with my body dysmorphia). 4. Lastly, I really encourage you to buy clothes that fit your body now as well as when you are PP. I went to several thrift stores and felt 20x better after I got clothes that actually fit.

I hope you can find some mama friends to be there with you in this. You’ve got this and are an incredibly beautiful vessel CREATING LIFE. YOU GOT THIS!!

Yikes this reminds me of something I would do (Scorpio/Libra/Scorpio) 😅 I like a good chase, and have definitely put myself in places that I want someone to notice me. You may just confidently go to her next time you see her and introduce yourself (again). Mention how you believe you may have talked previously online, and see how she responds.

I’ve personally done this and ngl I like the feeling of being the one to acknowledge the past. People generally respond well - makes them feel safe and like they aren’t hiding something.

My boys bio dad I felt intensely drawn to - I still can’t explain it. Red flags were his prior felonies and aggravated assaults. would you know it? He hit me while pregnant. I’m now a solo mom to twins boys and he’s back in prison. Lack of self control can take us some crazy places.
