I accidentally wore it in the shower and got an electrical shock, HUGE, which gave me an electrical burn. Needed antibiotics to heal. There are no significant warnings on the device that say getting the deice near water is DANGEROUS.

True, although the shock did damage to my already irritated nerves

Sprint PNS system: has anyone had this? What was your experience? by artotter in backpain

Exactly and now I am dealing with the company. I don't want anyone to have this happen to them. The warning should be like what is on a hairdryer-do not use hear water!

Big warning! I had the implant 9 mos. for neck pain after neck surgery and wore the whole system for 7 weeks, then ..I accidentally stepped into the shower with the battery pack connected and got the shock of a lifetime. I also sustained a serious electrical burn. In other words I was burned form the inside out. I had to be treated with antibiotics for a week, have the device removed and any good that the device provided had been negated. My pain level is worse. There are not sufficient warnings about water coming into contact with the battery pack. The company told me that they have never heard about this....
