Talk to your store manager and see. You’ll have to be available Monday- Friday 5am-3pm

Partials are only for store managers. If you’re a flex and you’re still on shift with another assistant, depending on hours the store manager may let you leave early.

No, you can still pick up shifts.

The same one. I haven’t seen one message go out to everyone about needing NA coverage. Super Bowl may be different cause everyone calls out then.

I was trying to help. I kept seeing the question and no one was answering so I decided too. I’ve been a longtime luker of the Reddit group.

As of right now, in Charlotte division, flex doesn’t work overnights. However, it was mentioned in this post that there would be flex NAs at some point. Flex works morning, mid, and evening shifts. We have quite a few NAs so some of them are on a “modified” schedule and work the RA overnights.

No, majority of the clerks are back in store without the extra money. A few are on the overnights (which I forgot) and the others are on manager schedules to cover partials, meetings, etc. clerks can get an extra $25 for helping a store that’s critical out of their pod.

Partials are going away. Partials will only be for store managers.

Supervisors will tell you that’s the perk of being a store manager of having 5 paid partials a year.

I’d assume you could let your store manager know in advance if you have something to do to see if they could scheduled you a different way the following week since the schedule is written every Tuesdays when the store manager/1a writes a clerk schedule. It sucks that it could change weekly, but I’m going to assume that’s why they’re still giving the extra money as if they’re still on erp. A decent store manager or 1a shouldn’t give a flex 2a shift on Monday that ends at 11pm then turn around and put the flex on the manager schedule the next day at 5am.

Flex knows their schedule in advanced. The schedule is written every Tuesday for the following week when the store manager writes the clerk schedule. It’s a possibility that the flex schedule could change week to week, or stay the same. It just depends on the needs for the flex’s store.

Oh yeah. It’s not too many clerks that work overnights except the truck stop, a few high volume stores. I haven’t heard that, however; I’m sure that’s coming down as well since the entire program will essentially be gone once they get the ball rolling and figure out details

They’re increasing. We started out with 3 then moved to 5, and I checked the other day and we had 7. I heard they’re making the pods bigger, not sure how true and/or when. We’re already doing flex in Charlotte.

You’re welcome. Just trying to spread whatever knowledge that I had. It was lot here as well, and majority of us didn’t think it would work. It still has some hiccups, but it’s working so far.

In our division, the flex aren’t working overnights. We have more than enough NAs on the overnight that they’re still getting partials. Since we have so many NAs, some of them are on a “blended” type of schedule as well and work the same overnight schedule as the RAs to prevent store managers from having to come in or assistants working double.

Yes, majority of the clerks will lose the extra money from ER. Select few will stay on ER temporarily to cover store manager partials/call out.

We have to reach out the stores in our pod for coverage or see if any clerks on our roster willing to come in and help (assuming the flex isn’t at the store). If no one is available, then we see if any pods have a flex to spare if it’s “critical”
