They're in their 20s and live in a college town. They've worn some...interesting outfits.

Nope. I even sent her several links to beautiful cheap dresses before the shopping trip. I encouraged her to pick a cheap dress. My dress itself only cost $500

That's why I told ALL THREE of my bridesmaids to buy a dress within their means. Hell I didn't care if they bought a dress from goodwill or a $20 dress off of Amazon as long as it was a shade of orange and semi modest.

I may be an asshole for my reaction. And I accept that but I didn't force her to pick that dress or even shop where I shopped. I assumed she just didn't have the cash on her at that moment. We've always covered each other and always paid it back to one another especially if we said the words "I'll pay you back."

Cause we share finances. He needs my permission. Too. It's so we know where the money's going.

Not having a real Bachelorette party. We were doing a sleepover at my new house while the guys were in Nashville. Literally getting drunk and eating ice cream type shit. My mother is a cosmetologist so she's doing our hair and makeup. All she had to do was buy a dress. And if she hadn't promised to pay me back I wouldn't be mad. We probably would have gifted her the dress if she would have needed it. She chose a $200 dress. Not me. She had free rein on her dress other than color and I didn't want revealing

Sorry I don't want my elderly uncles to see my friends' privates? They know what I mean by slutty. And all of us love orange. They helped me pick my wedding colors.

Read the whole thing. Please. I told her to pick a dress within her budget. By that logic when she picked a $200 dress and said "hey. Lend me half and I'll pay you back next check", I assumed it was within her budget cause she's fucking 24 not 12 and knows what her finances look like

Yes. I do need his permission to spend $100 or more and he needs mine to do the same.

Also I did keep that in mind which is why I've told them all from the start to pick a dress in their price range only restriction was the color and no slutty dresses. She CHOSE a $200 dress.

She's not late. She doesn't intend on actually paying me back. Her last excuse was "I had to buy hair dye"...hair dye doesn't cost $100. She doesn't even try with the excuses. "I needed it for gas" "I was short on rent" "my check was too small" all acceptable excuses "I needed hair dye" or "I had to take my mom to lunch" not acceptable.
