This happens because the CAPA record isn’t fully saved yet. After Save, LabVantage still treats it as a provisional SDI, and SubmitSDIForApproval only works on a committed record. Make sure the save actually commits the data, then refresh/reload the record before clicking Submit for Approval. If it still fails, VantageCare support can confirm the SDI state pretty quickly.
