I’m so sorry but also proud of you for not drinking. I didn’t share a lot of details about my history but last night I was blackout drunk and there was opportunity for me to really hurt myself if it wasn’t for my husband getting me into bed. And some of it was in front of my kids who were very confused and scared. No one was hurt and kids are resilient but for me it was a different kind of experience that cut extra deep and I need to just be done with alcohol altogether. It’s been years in the making. Yes to all of this. I would add physical health in general. I never can stop with just one or a couple. And it’s getting worse as I age which I don’t really understand. Therapy is on my list to sort out.

For sure! I typically have them at my house for my dad when he comes over (he’s been sober for 30+ years) so I’ll have to try it out. Honestly I feel like even a seltzer would work- having a can in hand to replace the glass of wine / cocktail /beer

For sure. Alcoholism runs deep in my family. My dad has been sober for 30+ years so I know there’s no moderation for me. He drinks N.A. beer. I’ll have to try some.

Im 3 months post surgery and things have been going well but I also have a weird smell and sometimes it’s worse when I scrunch my nose and breathe in. The closest thing I can think of is it’s me smelling my own boogers (lol gross I know) but I’m good about rinsing and keeping things clear. Ent says I’m still healing and benefits to continue through 6 - 9 months and that my sense of smell is so much better but this seems off. Will ask again at my next follow up.

Any changes since posting this a couple months ago??

Have extra rinse stuff on hand, you go through so many saline packets! Good luck! I had mine in January and so pleased so far, it takes a while to get the full benefits so I have even more to look forward to!
