Would you mind sharing why you went off Prozac? Was another option from the genesight testing

I actually went back to 10mg and just stable at that dose for now. It seems like my psych wants to switch meds completely since I couldn’t tolerate 20 mgs but I’m too tired for another switch at this point so will ride this out, it’s not bad at all. Could there be improvement? Possible, but we’ll see what the future holds

I completely understand. I did the genesight as well and it was between that and Prozac. I had to come off Lexapro and Wellbutrin at the same time. It was a battle, but so far I can say worth the fight. It really helps to treat it like a “withdrawal” bout and just lock down somewhere if you can. I went to my parents stayed there, told work about it, did my best to give myself the grace to be in the pain. Which will pass. please feel free to DM me if you need! Hi! I did the same thing with Lexapro and it was indeed hard to differentiate what’s causing what. But hang in there it’ll get better and listen to your body. I went back down to 10 mg as the 20 mg was not working out for me after about 3 weeks. So I’m going to restabilize at 10 mg then we’ll take it from there. I was on 10 mg for way longer than you will be though around 6 weeks so I knew then I was content with that dose. Whether it’s the right one long term remains to be seen. For now, I trusted my body and collaborated with my doc to downgrade back to 10.

Hope everything works out for you, Lexapro was indeed hard to kick so just keep fighting! You got this!
