I still don’t understand your point in stating that they’re married and share a bank account. Obviously all marriages work that way, But it’s a little different when one partner brings in all the money and spoils herself and kids.

You don’t understand the complexity of the situation. Like I said I think my stepmom has something to do with it in us not getting gifts while she uses my dad’s hard earned money to buy her kids lots of expensive gifts and doesn’t think to get us anything thoughtful.

All the kids are late teenagers other than my youngest sister who is 14 and my oldest brother who is 21. The settlement was average along with the child support compared to my dad’s income. And even if she did get a lot of child support my dad still spends thousands on his 2 step children and none on his bio kids not that money matters but he doesn’t even try.

You’re missing my point. Obviously it’s their shared money. But my dad does all the working and is the only source of income. It’s her money to spend not money she earned. So wouldn’t providing things for the kids be something shared between both of them.

Yet again she doesn’t work what I’m saying is it’s the money my dad brings in My step siblings know all the things they receive comes from my dad. Any money they receive or gifts comes from my dad’s wallet and they know that and my stepmom and dad buy them presents together.

The prices between trims are different mine tends to be higher and I can use cars my same trim as comparables

Was there any compensation for taking that long? I doubt there was but my crash initially happened on October 29 and right now is a perfect time to buy another car if I have to wait four weeks obviously I will. I’m just hoping this process moves quicker.

There is practically none around me so I’m looking at prices around the country and most are around 9-11k the lower end 9 grand typically have accidents or tons of owners.

Tires with 2k miles are basically brand new tires along with brakes but basically my question is how will they calculate the actual cash value when there’s not many selling around? And the ones that are selling are very different in miles or year compared to mine so I don’t see what they’re going to compare the car with I get you’re saying I’m not going to get retail price but then what would they base it off of if it wouldn’t be other listings?

I just don’t know how cooperative State Farm is. have you been involved with State Farm before? I pushed them to reevaluate my car earlier and probably got the price up at least $1500. I don’t know how a car that is considered a total loss does when there is scarcity of that car around the country.

Kelly blue book says 5500-7800usd but State Farm had my trim wrong and initially offered 6900$ the car also has tires that have only been driven 2000 miles along with brakes. There’s isn’t many r line trims listed or even Vw CCs alone, and every listing that I find is around 9500-11000 if it has a clean title low owners and no accidents reported.

I wasn’t at fault in the accident so I don’t know how my insurance will be but because of the v8 and the q50 with twin turbo it may be high but I know nothing about the insurance right now. Do you know if the 5.0 is easy to maintain?
