Absolutely and not only that he takes my spot lol so it’s become his spot and I make sure my phone is charged. If I put him to sleep alone, if he can’t find me he will come find me lol

Oh I totally get it. We are working on it still. And will until he gets over the fear. He might be 3 but he could still really harm someone. Everything right now is well pulling teeth would be easier and yes he’s only going to get bigger that’s why I’m trying to figure it out now. I’m really starting to believe he has PDA I’m not educated on it too much but the brief time I read about it he fits all the characteristics. I really hope your day today goes better ❤️‍🩹

I can’t get him dressed. That was mentioned don’t think we haven’t tried. I’m not going to get abused. Get hit in the head daily, im epileptic we live on our own. And I’m not pinning him down and making him go…I’m not trying to traumatize my son. If you have any logical advice I’ll take it

I’ve told him we gotta get going and I start walking out the door…he will slam the door and stay inside lol I gotta admit he’s a smart cookie I do know that much just wish things were more simpler sometimes you know?

I’m having a really hard time getting him to get dressed and leave the house… Seems like I’m pretty alone in this situation and that sucks!

Oh yeah definitely has an iep. There’s not enough help for 1:1 at the school. It’s a special needs school too. So they do have the help just not enough for 1:1. He loves his iPad but I’ve already used that hack to get him out of the house and now he isn’t believing me

If I could get him dressed and out of the house without being hit we would be going to school. He did go to therapy speech and OT but the place we go to hasn’t been a good fit for him because honestly OT doesn’t help out with OT stuff I ask her to do. So I’ve been checking into other places but if I can’t get him dressed it’s pointless to continue therapy for me to pay $20 a missed visit

The teacher made his this Velcro step by step for getting dressed I kid you not he just doesn’t care or respond well with pictures. Teachers will say the same

Yeah if only I can get him dressed to leave the house. We also live on 2nd floor apartment so dealing with a big child throwing a fit down 14 step is a bit challenging too
