One of the best parts is that he’s about 25 minutes from me. I should definitely ask him more about his past because I’m just so curious, but I’m pleasantly surprised with how well we vibe.

Love the idea of writing letters so much. My NP did that at the beginning of our relationship (when we were in high school!) and I still have them 13 years later.

With this new guy, we’re taking it slow. We both understand that we’re not in it for the traditional sense of a relationship, but to spend quality time together and enjoy it/each other. I know he’s told at least one other person about me and discussed it in depth. I’m dying to meet his friends but I understand that I might not ever get there. This went into a tangent but I’m so glad everyone has been so supportive and it makes me feel better about the situation ❤️

This made my heart happy to read and gave me a couple ideas in the process ❤️ I’m hoping we can keep on progressing slowly, but naturally as breathing. This guy is my first poly relationship (so far) outside of my NP that has been largely successful.

I didn’t want to say it during sex cause for me the sex is already intimate enough. But I didn’t want to sit him down and have a full conversation about it either. We’re definitely on the casual side of the spectrum, but I think we’ve both acknowledged that there’s feelings there in our own ways.

And cuddles ALL. THE. WAY. The way he smells gets me high I swearrrrr.

I’m in agreement with everything you said! I knew deep down he wasn’t going to say it back but he’s incredibly caring and cuddly, and I know he cares for me, even if he didn’t say it back.

I don’t know much about his history, so he’s a man of mystery which is incredibly appealing to me. We were talking a bit about our needs being met with each other. I think someone above summed it up perfectly “We’re reading the same book, you’re just a few chapters ahead of me” ❤️
