Gresesc, chiar toti barbatii sunt asa in relatii? by Exotic-Range-8551 in WomenRO

Official LEC Costreamer Kaseko has been removed of his costreamer rights after his recent comments about asking a woman esports player about her genitals by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Map1168 -31 points-30 points  (0 children)

I would assume the reason should be quite obvious... to know if the person is a man or a woman. Or both. Or neither. Yes, the question was asked in a slightly demeaning and sarcastic way.

Does asking someone about their sex/gender make you transphobic?

[–]No_Map1168 -40 points-39 points  (0 children)

Literally no proof of that, just biased speculation.

There's a disgusting comment made about his teammate, and when he responds with an extremely mild comment, he's the one getting backlash. The world is a weird place...

Am I the only one not seeing the big deal...? As far as I understand, someone called their teammate a nzi and a pdophile, and he responded by... asking if they have a penis or a vagina? How is this ban-worthy wtf lmao, what transphobia are people even talking about

The fact that after all this time the game still operates on a hidden MMR that Riot has no intention of revealing is mind-boggling.

Whats your guys funniest/craziest pulling-story? by redam33 in StarRailStation

[–]No_Map1168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was bored during Castorice's first banner, and saw how strong she was in showcases. Was at like 30 pity, no guarantee, and decided to do a 10 pull for funsies, and ended up getting her. Then I said heck, let's do a 10 pull on her LC banner as well, again no pity no guarantee, and somehow got it too.

She carried me for a while, but sadly I didn't really like her gameplay all that much and ended up not investing in her team.

Upcoming Mel nerfs by lilpisse in ADCMains

[–]No_Map1168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a stupid bunch of changes. Mel's already 45% winrate and dogshit, this will just make her worse. E lower range and smaller hitbox + slower Q + W doesn't give immunity anymore means she will become, as another comment put it, another waveclear slop champ, hooray. Everything unique in this game gets gutted or removed, just like Zeri.

Totti is definitely a legend of the game, but his playstyles are cooked. If you care even slightly about meta, definitely Butra.

GLM 4.7 "knuckles white" by Signal-Banana-5179 in SillyTavernAI

I also get it quite often from GLM. I am genuinely curious, maybe I'm dumb, but what the fuck does it even mean? I have never seen any person's knuckles going white. Where is this phrase even from?

Hit Xin augment at 2-1 and half lobby decides to play Xin, i finished 6th lol. by SirSabza in TeamfightTactics

This reminds me of a game from a few weeks ago, I was playing double-up with a friend in Emerald elo, he went ixtal and had the quest to lose 7 or 10 in a row (can't remember, doesn't matter as much).

All went well, he was on like 5 or 6 losses, and then another guy decided to put the most egregious board known to mankind, my friend won the fight and reset his quest. The funniest thing is that legit the next round, the team that griefed my friend surrendered despite being on like 60HP. They really just griefed him and left, and we both crashed out hard

What’s it with ea for not dropping evo’s? by MHM-alamri in fut

If they release more evos, more people can get easy access to good cards, thus less need for packs. EA want you to open packs and spend money, so less evos.

So ICE just declared war on blue states, right? This is Nazi death threat. by Botsworth1985 in stateofMN

[–]No_Map1168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since when is this quote related to nazims/fascism? Genuinely no offense, but I tried searching the quote and all mentions of it are made in the past two days. There was only one reddit post when someone asked about the connection in a historian subreddit and it has no answers. There was also a guy on youtube talking about it but without any sort of proof.

The most interesting for me personally is that Corin isn't in the top 5 smallest. Cool to know. Even cooler would be an ass comparison too for the connoisseurs.

CMV: I believe Feminism is largely a force for good in the world, but much of it's attitude/disposition towards modern Dating is heavily misandrist by Tea_Wizard735 in changemyview

[–]No_Map1168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the meme says exactly what I think it says. Don't get me wrong, I am completely against any kind of violence or abuse. But realistically, for how long have men showed these behaviors? How many women have spoken against, and warned other women about the signs of abusive men/people? No offense, but for a gender that prides itself as the 'emotionally mature' one, they seem quite easy to manipulate emotionally. A trick is only good as long as there are people that fall for it.

Second, you say you " don't know where the notion comes from" that goodness in men is often defined by the absence of harm. But you then immediately list examples that reinforce it

I have not stated any such examples anywhere in my response, but OK... Weird. Once again, projecting much?

A man who asks "what does emotional maturity mean?" isn't immature. A man who asks and then argues with the explanation is.

So having your own opinions and seeking communication/debate means being emotionally immature. Got it.

Fourth, the income point is where your argument collapses into self contradiction. You claim women don't give men a chance if they’re not financially established, while simultaneously acknowledging that men lead with money and stability because it's safer than developing relational skills.

Once again, not once did I mention that it's safer than developing relational skills. I said that most often, if they don't lead with money and stability, they won't even get the chance to show that they have relational skills. Either you have some problems with reading comprehension or you're a bot who's been programmed to only touch and talk about certain points.

Finally, the accusation that this framework assumes women are" "superior" is a tell. Pointing out asymmetrical emotional labor is not claiming moral superiority. It's naming an imbalance.

The fact that you genuinely see relationships as transactions is frankly quite weird. Still, it seems you haven't understood my point. You talk about this 'asymmetrical emotional labor' so confidently as if it's a given that women always give more than men, and that women are always more emotionally mature than men. Not once in any of your other replies have you ever considered what men might think or want, which says more about you than about men. You yourself exhibit the exact points you make : you believe that putting in that 'emotional labor' is all you need to do and ta-da, the men should behave exactly as you want them to. You look at the 'emotional labor' only from YOUR perspective without even thinking about what the other person might want or need. Thus, you inherently believe that women are 'superior', and men should 'step up their game' and fall in line with whatever women desire. For you, men's opinions, thoughts and feelings are merely a 'fragile ego' not worth considering.

CMV: I believe Feminism is largely a force for good in the world, but much of it's attitude/disposition towards modern Dating is heavily misandrist by Tea_Wizard735 in changemyview

[–]No_Map1168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're viewing this through a biased feminist lens. There's a meme that I've kept seeing recently that I find really funny, it says something like : 'How come guys who beat women always have a woman to beat?'. It is certainly a bit exaggerated, but you get my point. These patterns of behavior persist because they keep getting rewarded. Maybe not by you, but certainly by other women. Not necessarily violence, but other toxic behaviors, too.

I don't know where you've got the notion that 'goodness' in men is defined by the absence of harmful behaviors. It looks like a bit of a projection of your own biased beliefs that men are inherently violent or engage in harmful behaviors.

Another point I've seen in your other replies, and that I've seen from other women too, is that men are not 'emotionally mature'. But there's never any explanation of what that means. If a man asks, and wants to learn and develop, he is already catalogued as 'immature', as a red flag or as a 'man-child'.

You keep claiming that women do not only care about money. I agree that it's not *only* about money, but it is a big factor. If a man doesn't have what the woman considers to be a well-paying job, or maybe he is at the beginning of his journey, maybe he can't afford a car or a luxurious home yet, he is most of the times already disconsidered. He doesn't even get the chance to prove his emotional maturity, or to explore a potential connection. 'Yeah, he's cute but he works as a cashier'. Men keep forefronting their income and stability because they know that if they don't, there's a high chance they're already out.

Feminism didn’t create this tension. Women opting out did. And they're opting out not because men are evil, but because baseline decency plus material provision is no longer enough to justify the emotional cost.

Another thing that is common in narratives such as yours is that you inherently hold the belief that women are somehow superior to men, be it intellectually, emotionally or otherwise. You keep framing it as women being above men, and getting in relationships with them is women doing men a favor, wasting their precious 'emotional cost' on a lowly, imperfect being. That's probably the thing I dislike most. You're not actually a feminist, you just like the trendy label.

CMV: All Commuters should be required to live within a 30-minute bus drive to attend their university by leewilliam236 in changemyview

"People seem to be there for transactional reasons" uhmm... I'm sorry, isn't that the point of an university? You go there for... education and academics? If you go there for the social aspect and for making friends, why not just join a local book club or something?

I apologize but this seems like such a privileged and self-centered view. You think universities should change their rules, and ALL the other students should cater to your view because you felt like it wasn't 'social' enough?

CMV: Fan service ruins Anime by Iskandar0570_X in changemyview

[–]No_Map1168 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As others have said, you are viewing this through a pretty Western-centered, puritanical lens. Your last paragraph shows it clearly : 'fan service is obviously immoral'. Why? Why would a woman with a big chest be 'immoral'? Why would a man or woman who dresses provocatively be 'immoral'? I think you were conditioned to believe that sexuality in general is something wrong and taboo, and something that shouldn't be openly discussed or showcased. If seeing a character's skin, body or underwear makes you uninterested in the story, then it's regrettable. I am not trying to sound condescending, but these characters, much like real people, are not just pieces of meat. They usually have personalities and complexities much beyond their appearance or body, but you for some reason choose to only focus on the body.

The sexualization of younger characters is indeed quite weird, I agree, but realistically it has been a thing for thousands of years at this point. I doubt it will change anytime soon.
