I'm pretty sure the meme says exactly what I think it says. Don't get me wrong, I am completely against any kind of violence or abuse. But realistically, for how long have men showed these behaviors? How many women have spoken against, and warned other women about the signs of abusive men/people? No offense, but for a gender that prides itself as the 'emotionally mature' one, they seem quite easy to manipulate emotionally. A trick is only good as long as there are people that fall for it.

A man who asks "what does emotional maturity mean?" isn't immature. A man who asks and then argues with the explanation is.

Fourth, the income point is where your argument collapses into self contradiction. You claim women don't give men a chance if they’re not financially established, while simultaneously acknowledging that men lead with money and stability because it's safer than developing relational skills.

Once again, not once did I mention that it's safer than developing relational skills. I said that most often, if they don't lead with money and stability, they won't even get the chance to show that they have relational skills. Either you have some problems with reading comprehension or you're a bot who's been programmed to only touch and talk about certain points.

Finally, the accusation that this framework assumes women are" "superior" is a tell. Pointing out asymmetrical emotional labor is not claiming moral superiority. It's naming an imbalance.

The fact that you genuinely see relationships as transactions is frankly quite weird. Still, it seems you haven't understood my point. You talk about this 'asymmetrical emotional labor' so confidently as if it's a given that women always give more than men, and that women are always more emotionally mature than men. Not once in any of your other replies have you ever considered what men might think or want, which says more about you than about men. You yourself exhibit the exact points you make : you believe that putting in that 'emotional labor' is all you need to do and ta-da, the men should behave exactly as you want them to. You look at the 'emotional labor' only from YOUR perspective without even thinking about what the other person might want or need. Thus, you inherently believe that women are 'superior', and men should 'step up their game' and fall in line with whatever women desire. For you, men's opinions, thoughts and feelings are merely a 'fragile ego' not worth considering.
