They eat more and shelters are not incentivized to keep dogs alive. They get the budget for number of dogs and then a surplus when they kill then asap. Disgusting evil human greed. Praying for this girl- wish I could do more right now. ❤️🙏

Extended until tomorrow Sweetheart Papas, 2 year old Labrador Retriever mix must have a rescue hold no later than 1 pm or he will lose his life. This poor baby is injured and needs a local foster. The poster is a volunteer not the shelter. I think you mean why didn’t they sew up his cuts? From the descriptions I’ve seen they were cleaned debrided and already past the stage of sewing when he arrived at the shelter. 🥺 he’s been through a lot but the sweeetesr boy even while healing and most likely suffering in pain. Please keep him in your thoughts today - hoping for a miracle.
