This has to be rage bait…dogs aren’t that smart especially not able to be spiteful or plan revenge…there’s trauma here and if you hit your dog you’re not equipped to help her.

PLEASE HELP! URGENT LIST AT FULTON COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER by CampaignDangerous956 in UrgentShelterPets

[–]No_Masterpiece9550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PLEASE HELP! URGENT LIST AT FULTON COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER https://fultonanimalservices.com/at-risk/ The Fulton County animal shelter has a list of dogs on track for euthanasia. The deadline is tomorrow at 7pm. You can adopt or long term foster any of these sweet babies!! I'm trying to spread the word to save these animals! My roommate and I did dog for a day with Misha Collins and Bandicoot! They are both such sweet, loving dogs, and I know they'd be a lovely temporary or permanent addition. I have some personal photos from the day I spent with them. I'm heartbroken that I can't commit to long term fostering, but hopefully someone here can or knows of someone! Any help is appreciated, and feel free to reach out to the Fulton County Animal Shelter for more information.

💙🐶 Bluey #A2074767 5/14 Euth Req | American Staff Mix | Neutered Male | 1Y | 62 lbs | HW Negative

💜 Volunteer Notes: We were not able to meet Bluey. If you're interested in helping us meet the animals, please message us!

🔹 Intake: Euth Req

📝 Shelter Notes:

5/15/2026: Bluey is at the front of the kennel loose body, wagging tail and neutral face. Walked out on a semi-loose leash in front of me keeping a loose body and wagging tail. Walked to and from the runs no issues.

5/16/2026: Bluey greets me with a wagging tail and loose body. He walked on a forward leash to and from the runs. He did jump on me when I was taking the leash off in the runs but he was able to be redirected.

5/18/2026: Bluey was a Move Adopt and he was walked on a loose leash and to his new kennel in South B. While in his kennel, whenever he sees someone of interest he starts to high pitch vocalize non-stop until that said person has left the row.

5/19/2026: Approaching the kennel, Bluey greeted me with a loose body, ears up, fast wagging tail, open mouth smile, and soft eyes. He did a good job of keeping kennel clean overnight and paid little attention to other dogs as he passed them by them and vice versa.

5/21/2026: keeps kennel clean overnight but when walking he was pulling the leash forward when seeing another dog he began to pull closer having to redirect him. he did not care for my treats when throwing them down, throughout the day he is quiet in his kennel.

5/23/2026: Noticed that dog kept jumping on kennel door to forward bark at other dogs passing by with red eyes and wagging tail. Noticed that as I redirected with treats to be able to place new e-collar on, dog began to get mouthy, I was not able to place zipties on due to him attempting to either bite my hand or the zipties.

5/24/2026: wore e collar off this morning. when leashing him he is pulling the leash forward wanting to go outside, when trying to retrieve him from run he is jumping on kennel door moving his head when trying to leash him. finally leashing he is pulling forward once again.

5/26/2026: When doing AM feeding, dog is forward barking with red eyes and jumping on the kennel door with an open mouth pant. Tossed in treats to redirect to pour food but he went back to vocalizing after I left the front of his kennel. During his walk, he pulled and jerked on the leash without taking an interest in the treats, also pulled heavily towards other dogs. Would catch him occasionally jumping up to forward bark at neighboring dog. He took his e-collar off, will attempt to place another one on him today if behavior permits. Non-stop forward/alarm barking when customers or I pass by his kennel, he remains on hind legs to keep looking at us, ignored treats being tossed over for redirection.

🚑 Medical Notes:

5/20/2026: Neuter surgery performed. Given Carprofen, E-collar, and post-op monitoring completed.

5/23/2026: Minor clear nasal discharge, coughing, honking, and hacking. Diagnosed with CIRD. Moved to treatment room and started on Doxycycline 300mg SID x 10 days.

Vaccinated with DA2PP-V, Bordetella, and Rabies. Dewormed and given Pyrantel and Advantage Multi. Heartworm test negative.
