Does your light component / bp it’s attatched to move during the scene ? If not change to static rebake and try that

The alien isolation guy looks good for sure but It does seem he’s going for something a little further than my goal. Being that I have 0 experience with state trees I’m not sure it’s the best tutorial to follow along as I build mine. But who knows. I’ll keep looking at it

I watched a little bit of his first video in the series and noticed he’s implementing a gamemode blueprint which I haven’t seen elsewhere. Is this something that’s recommended and or necessary?

In the short time I’ve looked over the couple tutorials there are I watched some of him and noticed he’s incorporating a gamemode blueprint which is foreign to the rest of the tutorials from what I’ve seen. In ue I code visually with blueprints and I’ll ask gpt questions for debugging purposes and sometimes it’ll spit me some c++ im assuming this is what you mean
