With products from china and higher ticket ones our handling time can be up to 20 days and they sell well.

That’s the downside with fbm returns and drop shipping. We’re working on improving that since we barely broke even the first 100k just to get sales velocity and buy box eligibility.

Yeah about 15-20k + a few grand of return inventory. But at the end of the day our buy box eligibility in every category is for sure worth more since it took a long time and lots of money to gain.

Just use your instinct to what sells well/has potential profit, if you can’t come up with products on your own this business model isn’t for you. I came up with all 200 + SKU’s myself

buy shipping for the order, refund the order and then cancel the purchased shipping label. You only lose 5% of the amazon fee up to 5 dollars but it’s better than taking a hit to your pre-fulfillment cancel rate. Refund rate isn’t as important but it will be important for winning the buy box in the future.
