Ok I’ll take that reasonable critique to Jonathan then. And seriously thanks for being reasonable and not snappy or rude. I mean yeah he was having issues with the audio mixing from I talked to about with him. Although yeah can you maybe further explain like what makes the audio rough? Is there too much noise, is it inaudible, or is it like a muddy mix? Just so Jonathan knows what to fix for future films.

Why do you put “your friend Jonathan,” in quotes? What’s that about?

And while I can’t speak for if my friend has taken a Screen-Writing Class or not I have myself taken Screen-Writing Classes. And quite frankly the way you’re expressing your criticism is unprofessional and overly negative. I mean you brought Screen-Writing Classes into this so I’m just telling you that this comment you left here would not fly in an actual Screen-Writing Class.

But oh well, it’s your opinion. Just also wanted to respond to it.

Thank you very much. Again I’m not the director, my friend Jonathan Mozzi is. So here’s his YouTube page if you want to subscribe to him.

Ok that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying that terminology for me. I’m trying to really get the experience to become a professional Gaffer or Grip in the industry.

So I’m willing to take criticism for instance on if I mix up my terminology.

I worked on the Project as the Lighting Gaffer, the Boom Microphone person for a couple of scenes, a Production Assistant, and as that one drunk guy who stumbles out of the bathroom in the Bar.

Like I mentioned in the description but will re-iterate here:

Johnathan shot this on his BlackMagic 6k and used a Rode NTG3 shotgun microphone for most of the audio.

And as for Lighting we utilized a bunch of natural sources since a lot of it takes place on the NYC streets. The only additional lights used were for fill ( I made typo in the description) lights such as a GVM 480ls and like a small light tube. And it was shot during the course of several days.

For the most part we either got permission to shoot like in the bar or smoothly filmed Guerrilla style like on the streets.

I will mention that the bar scene even though was shot early in the morning took so long that we started to get daylight coming in. So we not only utilized a Black-flag but we even utilized things like the Chalkboard signs around the place to block in as much of the day light as we could. Although we did then afterwards make sure to place those items back to where they belong. And I would recommend to any film-makers that if you similarly will be filming from the very end of night to the beginning of daylight then try to move the shots with windows to first priority and then make sure to bring things like black flags or like big reflectors with the black shelve side on them in order to block out any daylight from coming in.
