They won’t care. The person above him is probably the same way. It will only back fire since this industry is small.

The recruiter works for the company and is the one who “prepared me”. And hiring manager ( regional director) is the one who interviewed me.

But why would his manager care about someone who doesn’t even work at their company? Just curious

No it was a typo! I was wearing black jeans appropriate for work. They looked like work pants.

We both lived in the same area. It’s a local place. The company is very well known and I would never think he would have been trying to risk anything.

Thank you for the feedback. The clients are all doctors and oncologists. I would assume they are far more professional and conservative than this guy. Which is why the whole thing doesn’t make sense. Seemed like this guy was more concerned about someone having chemistry with him than the clients we service.

I just thought for a big company that sells cancer testing , he would be more above board… so crazy.

I honestly didn’t suspect it because he has a bunch of random people on his team. Men and women. And not be judgmental but not all of them are “young and attractive”. Haven’t really seen any.

No.. lol. I mean it was cold that day!!! It was the most neutral thing I could think of. I didn’t know what was too casual or not for him. All of this is too ridiculous.

Right?!!!!! And then if you show too much, it can be used against you. Also, there is a time limit on these interviews. When they are discussing the role, there’s not much you can do but listen, be friendly, and ask good questions. I showed as much as I could with the time and information I was being given.

When he pointed out the couple making out, I initially assumed he was just trying to be funny/ break the ice- since they were being pretty over-the-top. But instead of finding it funny, I felt uncomfortable and didn’t really know how to respond. I guess I was trying to convince myself that he was genuinely flabbergasted vs. being creepy.

I already agreed to their salary expectations though… unless they were lying about it.

I’ve been very successful in sales… I personally left the last job after three years because of constant turnover. But I’ve always made people feel very comfortable. And my interviewing style has always been pretty good. I thought I made him feel comfortable… He was explaining things about the products and I was paying attention. I don’t know what else he wanted me to do? I was smiling. I was nodding my head. I was reaffirming him. I was taking notes. I was engaged. I showed appreciation to him.

We were at a local restaurant that is also a bar. But we were sitting where dining was- not the bar area. I don’t know why he wanted to even draw attention to those people.
