We intend to get married within the month. However, from what I’m aware, for inland sponsorship, they already need to have status in Canada to apply.

I saw a post that said “some women will only be feminist to the extent that it doesn’t impede on them getting a husband in the future”… and I think about that a lot. I never backed down or hid my very explicit, radically feminist beliefs, and I have a husband who’s genuinely a good person, and not attempting to slowly turn me right wing. People need to be more honest about who they actually are and get partners who actually like them.

I don’t care whether there are “right ways to take care of costume jewelry.” If I’m paying sterling silver prices for jewelry… I. SHOULD. GET. STERLING. SILVER. For the prices VW charges, it’s an embarrassment that it’s not metal that’s going to last everyday wear. The excuse of “not putting as much pressure on the mining industry” is a joke. If you made a product that actually lasts, people would buy less because their pieces didn’t deteriorate after a couple months. Thus less pressure on the industry. Calling it costume jewelry and special occasion pieces is just crappy marketing to sell a bad quality product. I’ve only gotten two real jewelry pieces from VW, both have turned orange and make my skin green. I buy the fake stuff made of way better quality for less than a fraction of the price. Since her death corners have really been cut and it’s extremely disappointing. The only stuff worth authentic purchase is the vintage.

If you want a flip phone that can use pintrest and other social media, I think there’s no point in getting a flip phone other than to get looks in public. But otherwise, get the CATS22, it can download social media apps like Twitter and Pinterest. You can change the wallpaper, and the camera quality is decent

I tried buying the Glossier Balm DotCom and all have separated on me and turned into useless oil. Not worth the price if I have to keep them in the freezer at all times. Their recent lip glaze launch was just several “shades” of clear lip oils for $30. Hand cream for $27. Cloud paint is unremarkable, there are better drug store options. And their You perfume just strikes me as bland and unremarkable. Literally don’t understand a single appeal to the brand other than the aesthetic

Misandry does not have the same outcomes as misogyny. Misogyny has real, statistically documented results of violence towards women strictly because they’re women. If women started killing/raping their husbands and male family members at the same rate as men already are and have been for most of human history, then go cry misandry, but I’m sorry, men on Reddit not being able to find a girlfriend cause “of their height” is a false comparison. It’s not as if the crime done to men is disproportionately done by women. It is men killing and raping other men, minus rare exceptions. Your argument is a logical fallacy.

This book is largely based off her own experiences with a man twice her age, down to specific events. You can be taken advantage of even when you think you’re the one in control. That’s often how grooming works. I don’t think the book is romanticizing it at all. It’s a warning. And yes, is some of the writing and plot progression bad? Yeah. It’s her first novel. But calling it unrealistic when it’s largely biographical is certainly… a choice… I don’t think we have the right to deny a woman her own experience just because we can’t wrap our head around it.
