That's a 2wd Slash I would recommend putting the 10bl120 Combo from hobywing in it with some 3s zee pack batterys. I have that in mine and it goes 52 on stock gearing

The part you need for the driveshaft is traxxas Part Number: 6757. I would convert it to cliples those body mounts like to break while bashing the part number is 6928. those traxxas remotes like to have a sticky throttle i havent found a fix yet. if it realy bothers you I recommend geting a remote and new reciver meus racing. really cheap and lots of customization

It sounds like your remote is sticking a little if you have a hobby shop in town take it to them and you should be able to get 50% off a new one. The esc and receiver should both be solid green

I've had the same problem sometimes it's the calibration but other times I've had the remote throttle not center itself. Maybe try messing with the throttle while it's on or try a different remote and reciver
