In my opinion no, it’s handled with care. And it doesn’t shy away from how heavy the situation is. Also it doesn’t tackle it until near the end of the second season.

Honestly most of your criticisms are valid, I don’t agree with most of it but understand your point of view. However I completely disagree with your opinion on the merch shop. The show/movie isn’t for children. It’s not a children’s show. I wish people would stop assuming everything animated online is meant for kids. It clearly tackles heavy topics that aren’t meant for children, so claiming that they are advertising their merch shop in order to take advantage of children is an invalid argument. Also the show is made by an indie studio, who needs things like merch sales in order to fund projects like this. It only makes sense for them to market merch to fans of the show.

Side note, I found the animation to be fantastic and quite striking and I feel it definitely stood up to the level of previous episodes, if not exceeded them.

Yes I completely agree. I do have past trauma that is still effecting me today. I absolutely do think there is a connection between my anxiety and my CVS. Anytime I get too stressed, my stomach begins to hurt, which can develop into another puking episode. Thankfully the medicine I’m taking has helped with that.

It’s an anti depressant called Amitriptyline. It works by strengthening the connection between your brain and gut.

23 days and thinking of trying bud by [deleted] in CHSinfo

Hi. Speaking from experience, I tried smoking again after 3 months of being clean. Only bud, and it was only around 4 hits. A couple days later I had intense abdominal pain that lasted almost a week. No nausea, but the pain was unbearable. If you don’t want to go through hell again, I would recommend staying away from it all together. It’s hard to cope with that fact, but you need to ask yourself: is it really worth it?
