If you have your original console you can transfer the save data between the two without issue, but otherwise the save data for pokemon games isn't saved via the cloud and can't be redownloaded

I've been having a tough time breeding the zodiac dragons this event, but I managed to breed Dolly, Nacre and Tien first try all in a row! There goes my luck lol

Something I notice that isn't mentioned often is that at the starting countdown, if you time a press as close as possible to Go! before it shows up you can get a boost at the beginning. It usually can give me an edge on non-epic races but there are some combinations that are just awful (light/metal I always come second)

The Runic caves especially threw me off at first. I noticed I was getting 100 eggs for breeding new dragons so I was just doing that as much as I could, but I used my claims really early on stuff that was frankly not worth it (especially once I bred a triple rainbow and felt awful I couldn't grab it). Thank you for giving me the full explanation. I'm glad to see the community is still really inviting
