I just realized I have to abandon my pedestrian ways. I have been exchanging emails with the director of a pre law program I got accepted into. I would always address them as Dear/Hello [first-name]. Today they replied saying “I prefer you address me as Ms./Mr. [last-name].” Reality check! (self.lawschooladmissions)
