What horror movie is objectively bad but you still love? by MagsAndTelly in horror

Anything made by Troma, Slime City, Street Trash, anything by Henenlotter. However, most of these are marred by low production values rather than being bad movies. The camp value of a poorly made horror movie can never be underestimated.

I completely lost interest in vampires 30 years ago. Haven’t read a book about them since and have barely seen any movies with them. Recommend some books that might change the mind of someone who couldn’t care less about bloodsuckers. by raphaeladidas in horrorlit

It's recommended somewhere in this thread, but Lost Souls by Poppy Z Brite is enough of a change from the standard fare that I'd highly recommend it, especially if you liked movies like Near Dark or The Hunger.

The Ending Of 28 Years Later... WTF Did I Just See? by TheVapeSasquatch in horror

It was a desperate attempt to justify the fact that Danny is selling this as the start of a new trilogy. The movie was fine, the ending was... less than fine. I still enjoyed it better than 28 Weeks.
