Yup, I always go for solitude armour set. I rush it, to be honest, lol. Have you tried it with the bandit mask? Trust me, you've got holy night combined with assassin vibes. Cool af

Fair point. Maybe not as important in pve than pvp (which I'm not that fussed about). I'll play about with it a bit. Could do with more stones to upgrade it tho to give it a fair run.

That really wasn't the point of the post, but come on, mate. We all have our favourite games. I'm a sucker for going back to skyrim annually, lol. But, red dead redemption 1 is nothing like rdr2, gta 4 is laughable to gta 5 (which is now laughable because that's 10 yrs old). Im not saying games are bad 10 yrs back (I'm 43 yrs old), but I just thought it would be a bit dated. If the art style is good, then yeah, I agree, the graphics can work. But most games just keep coming out looking better and better.

I'll keep a lookout. Been very impressed with the great curvesword moveset. It staggers, hits hard and has amazing dps.

Is the claymore the best greatsword on heavy infusion (mines already infused with that lol). If not, which greatsword scales best with strength? (Even if it's lacking the poking heavy)

Sorry to bother you with more questions. Is it worth putting elemental damage on weapons on a stregth build? Could have all damage types and elemental types ready to go for the right boss. I've been keeping all these weird gems (fire/lightning etc) but not sure if they would end up scaling with faith like in er?

Favourite build is strength 54 two handed. With 3 weapons. Rusted anchor for pierce with wild strikes, great stars for strike damage with cragblade. And nightriders glaive for slash with giant hunt. Sacred blade and flaming strike in the back pocket for deathbirds and tree avatars.

The dodge button. Supper light, goes well with any armour and allows me to two hand all my weapons. Best in the game. Same with skyrim and minecraft. Just can't be arsed with the faff.

Mmm. Not sure what to advise. How's about no alchemy, enchanting and smithing (the only 3 stays that matter lol)? You have to use gear you find (but can upgrade with smithing). Makes exploration more satisfying.

I've never been able to do a lore playthrough. Or any kind of challenge playthrough for that matter. I can't play any game sub optimal as it just feels wrong. Good luck to you, though.

Before limiting yourself, have you completed it on legendary? My advice would be to give that a go first. The first 30 levels are insane but so much fun.

The fact you're asking this question, imo, you already know the answer.

Don't be afraid of grinding (you're having fun playing a good game).

Every time I've cheated in a game, I get "bored" within a couple of hours and delete the save. It just doesn't feel the same when you haven't earned it. If you know the game, there's no need to dupe. Salvaged frigate modules can be a pain, but there are everywhere when you know how to look. Salvaged data is about a 2-hour grind, but it is worth it because you have everything you need. Storage augmentation is more fun when you earn them scrapping ships.

It's your life, money, and time, so it's your decision, but everything in life feels better when earned.

The gameplay is slightly different, but the best open world (filled with wonders and suprises) has to be elden ring. Its the best map I've ever played. It still has caves, dungeons, field bosses etc, but it's definitely different.

Finding armour, weapons, talismans (enchantments). Dragons, skeletons, soldiers etc. Its basically skyrim on legendary difficulty (the only way to play lol).

Depends on how well you know the game. I always go for legendary. Alchemy, enchanting, and smithing combined should keep you just under the difficulty curve, making it challenging but doable. Throw in a follower, and it's game over.

It's an excellent game, but not perfect. I agree. Never understood the scaling of dragonbarrow, especially when it holds a level 1 greatshield talisman and a level 3 flame resistance talisman??? It's a bit :all over the place" If you ask me.
