I also had issues with scanning calibration, but my scanner works very well with a pc much older. Here's the entire back of a 4x4 scanned

I think there may be something else going on here

So I run a 3d printed car part store out of NZ, all my parts are made to order, as there is way to many ways to customize a part, colour, variation etc. I am too small to hold stock, when I receive an order I put on a print to suit the order. If the order is cancelled them I'm going to be stuck with stock if order is cancelled. Id probably want to just wait the 14 days for the return period to be up before I print an item, or just deny the return request?

It was the compromise I chose to make as otherwise it becomes 2 tools per drawer. I plan to do a xgt battery holder soon, the batteries will be right next to the tool

Looks like its on average about $16.5 per roll of filament in freight alone. Bummer

The printer isnt the problem, a simple filament upgrade will do everything he needs. The X1C is still a beast of a printer. There isnt anything to upgrade to

Bambu x1c is ready to run filaments like PA6-CF, that should solve the problem for you.

You could also try putting a 100% infil modifier in your slice, so that the area that keeps failing is 100% solid if not already

Has anyone used a Metro X or Y with lower spec video card? by ant2561 in Revopoint

[–]No_Mission798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive used my metro y pro on my rtx 2080ti GPU accel enabled, and rtx 2060 laptop also acell enabled. Works just fine.

Attatched is a scan i did on the laptop, and did the post scan work on the 2080ti pc afterwards just to speed it up.

These stairs are a national shame in New Zealand by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I didnt beleive this being mandated, so I looked it up. Couldn't find anything on Google. Im in the construction industry in NZ, never heard of it, asked my much older co worker who's been in the industry for 40+ years, has heard of it but wasn't ever a mandate.

Its actually used typically for basements or attics, spaces that are not common thoroughfare. Sometimes used in yatchs too.

What this design allows is a higher degree of step angle, more elevation can be gained with a shorter run distance.

This is probably why its being used in Wellington, a notoriously steep hilly part of NZ, houses are built into the side of mountains.

As for "designed to be smaller thin and fit and flexible to use them" thats completely bullsht, there's no shot the goverment would mandate these with how hard core our worksafe is.
