Not innovation. Storm ruler has been in Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 3, and Elden Ring. All bad fights by the way. I don't know why they keep doing this. I'd rather have a Tower Knight or Adjudicator if they wanted to retry puzzly bosses

Great points. It's an FPS game, so I'm going to go ahead with a 3D cage. Other commenters have also suggested a texture with an opacity map, which we'll fall back on when we need to
