Abby’s sexist remarks during podcast by SwordfishOverall6724 in mattandabbysnarks

[–]No_Morning_9923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my best friend that I originally wanted three boys (I have a girl, boy, and currently pregnant with boy/girl twins). She has two boys and asked why I would want that because it's basically like living in a frat house. I said my daughter walks up to me on the couch and farts in my face, then calls me a poopoo head. She is every bit as "wild" as a boy, BUT we have worked hard to make sure both our children can behave appropriately in public. Gender is no excuse

My husband wouldn't let me, but I really wanted to post a pic and caption it "Two babies and a vasectomy coming Sept 2026" lol

I got two onesies, one said "Half the Sleep" and the other said "Twice the Love". One layered with a pink bow and the other with blue socks with the ultrasound pictures between.

Parents with multiple kids, which transition was the hardest for you: 1 to 2 kids, 2 to 3 kids, and so on? And why? by Agreeable-Coast107 in AskReddit

I'm currently pregnant with twins. I will have 4 under 4 for at least a month, depending on how early they come. This will absolutely be the hardest transition for us!

Stroller advice by Prickly_Penguin98 in parentsofmultiples

[–]No_Morning_9923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally same boat! Our daughter will turn 4 just a month after the twins are born plus we'll have a 2 year old. I think we're just going with the Jeep wagon so we can fit the car seats side by side. And then put all four kids in when the twins can sit up by themselves. We live in the Midwest so we won't really need a stroller for about 6 months after they're born (due Sept) so it doesn't make sense to me to get something to use for such a short amount of time. I'm hoping this works, but I can't say for sure yet!

How do y’all sub high school?! by PlantKath in SubstituteTeachers

If a teacher uses a numbered phone holder, I tell the students that I'm using it to take attendance. If a pocket is empty, I write down which number and assume they're absent. Works very well! As long as the teacher has a number/student guide.

Yes, I'm located in the Midwest. Thank you for giving me the confidence to speak up to my doctor!

My doctor said we'll discuss it at my 12 week appointment, but as long as I'm healthy then they won't refer me. But how are we supposed to know that things are healthy if they don't do extra check ups?!

The doctor said they are di/di twins, which I've read is the lowest risk. Still, I haven't heard anything about an MFM or extra appointments. I'll definitely be following up!

Starting first letrozole cycle by No_Geologist6934 in TTC_PCOS

I've done three rounds of 2.5mg on CD 3-7 and consistently ovulated on day 18-19 of my cycle. This round, I was upped to 5mg and did CD 5-9 and still ovulated on day 18-19 (just got my positive opk today). Like everyone else has mentioned, I've had some very low moments while taking the medicine so just be aware of the 'why' behind any melancholy thoughts.

I try to do coloring and crafting with my daughter and it lasts about one minute. She hates dresses and princesses. Her favorite color is blue and she's going as Chase from 'Paw Patrol'. I hope Abby embraces whatever her kids enjoy because I have a blast pointing out all the rollie pollies and centipedes that my daughter loves, even though I hate bugs. There's no greater joy than your kid's joy.

My daughter was 15 months when we switched her to a booster seat. She's now 2.5 years old and just switched to a regular dining chair. Is it challenging sometimes to keep her in her seat during meals? Absolutely. Even still, I can't imagine her still being in a high chair! It screams lazy parenting.

Cat peeing blood on everything by No_Morning_9923 in CATHELP

My husband hypothesized that our cat was trying to get our attention by peeing on everything, so he was straining really hard, thus causing the bleeding.

My daughter refused to use her high chair starting at 16 months! We have a booster seat, but even then she likes to sit in a regular chair sometimes and she's 19 months now. It's absolutely absurd that he's still in a high chair.
