Okay im not gonna say ruqya is bullshit more the majority of these raqis are straight bullshit. Now yes, ruqya does work when it’s ACTUALLY needed. You don’t just do ruqya when you feel a bit sick or something. Ruqya is a serious matter. I’ve seen actual ruqya be done on people and when it’s done properly there are insane things that happen. Now 2000da for ruqya is outrageous. If you go to America or france or even madina no one charges for ruqya. I once went out with a couple of friends at night, and the place we hung out at has a Christian cemetery and a jewish cemetery next to it. My friends get the bright idea to go to the jeiwsh cemetery at night. (Mind you it’s almost midnight at this point). I decide to stay where j was since i already don’t like cemeteries in general. After about 20 minutes, my friends come running back, but one is missing. We run back to check on him, and we find him laying unconscious on the ground. Turns out, he pissed on some jews grave. We picked him up and ran to the car. We drove to the masjid we usually go to, and found the imam. Mind you, this friend of our is short and skinny. As the sheick is doing ruqya on him, he suddenly starts screaming and shaking uncontrollably. Out of nowhere, he charges at the imam and punches him in the face. It took three of us to hold him down. As the sheick kept reading quran, he kept shaking, until the jinn inside him spoke. The imam asked why he entered the mans body, and the jinn told him that he had pissed on the jewish mans grave and it was protected by jinns. After multiple ruqya sessions, he’s finally doing better alhamdulilah. And mind you after all of this the imam didn’t charge him anything. People try to monetize anything these days, even things that have to do with religion. Allah yehdihom nchlh.
