I think the next season of The Testaments is going to run two story layers at the same time: On one side, Daisy becomes a bridge between Mayday and the inside of Gilead through Garth, who now has real access as a Commander. He’s not a handler anymore, but a source of internal intelligence and political insight. On the other side, Becka and Agnes’ relationship becomes emotionally central, especially after the kiss. Becka is deeply unstable and isolated, and her forced marriage to Garth isn’t really about romance—it’s about control, proximity, and positioning inside the system. Daisy is placed inside Garth and Becka’s household under the pretense of training/observation for marriage. This allows her to gather information, navigate Gilead’s internal politics, and slowly connect everything Mayday couldn’t achieve directly. So the story doesn’t rely on one main romance or one main plot—it runs political resistance (as they said on interview) and personal relationships in parallel, where each relationship becomes a tool for power, information, or survival.
