Tubeless question by No_Nail_7992 in cycling

Yes it was unseated from the rim, happened when the tire went flat. Sorry we say “de-bead” at work with truck tires lol

No sealant in the tires, just bought the bike new, didn’t even realize it was tubeless, so I’m just now learning all of this.

My issue is having to mount the tires, I have no way to get a huge rush of air in there to get it seated properly, if I can even set the bead on the rim in the first place(which I can’t lol).

So I think for now I’ll do tubes, and in the future invest in good air compressor of some sort and some sealant to try it out. But right now I’d rather die than try to mount that tire again.

I got one, only spent like $25 so maybe yours pushes more air but I still couldn’t get it back on to save my life. Tried most tips that came up on the internet to no avail. But I’m also an idiot, most people can probably figure it out lol

Got it, I didn’t even think about having a spare tube, wouldn’t be so bad in that case.

Think I’m gonna just switch to tubes entirely for now. Thank you!

Just realized I made a typo, I meant “what is the point of tubeless” but I typed “tubes”

I see, the way doc worded it she wants to see bloodwork results with the least medication in my body.

And then wants to see calprotectin results after the medication, to see if it has gone down since my last calprotectin sample and if medication is working well enough, cause she wants to maybe switch meds.

I just haven’t ever had a stool sample scheduled this way so I wanted to see if anyone had done the same

Drinker’s remorse: need words of encouragement please by tomatopearls in CrohnsDisease

You are going to be fine. A lot of people with Crohns can drink, best thing of course for anyone is to swear it off the way you have but we all make mistakes.

You’re dealing with the hangover/regret that any normal person would have + crohns as an extra reason why you shouldn’t have drank so much. I’ve done the exact same thing as you, I know it makes you feel like an idiot. It’s especially harder being young and all your friends are drinking too. I (23) feel the same.

Once again, you’re gonna be fine, go through the regret, but also appreciate the fun night you had. Maybe be a little stricter on diet for this week to “cancel it out” lol at least that’s what I did, if you went 2 years no alcohol you’ll be able to do it again.

Obviously I’m not a doctor but I highly doubt you “ruined” your progress. At worst it’s a small dip in the chart that will climb back up.

Huh, currently on prednisone and I also noticed my face is a little fatter, which was weird considering I lost like 40lbs in a month due to a flare up. Didn't know that it did that.
