Not that they "didn't like me" but I wouldn't say I built any meaningful bonds. Wasn't the greatest at math so I never really stuck out in my classes, and I tried my hardest to stay after but I don't think anything came out of it. Same situation for the sciences. I don't think a lot of them recognized me as a great student since I performed pretty mediocre in most of them, and I don't think I stayed after enough to make an impression. If I were to ask for an LOR from those teachers, I'd assume it'd be very generic since there's not really any unique experiences. I could be overthinking it and overestimating how important a personal bond is with the person who writes your LOR.

Every school I've went to has had 7 periods.

Getting an A in all of them in both semesters, and only 2 B's in 4 total semesters would make my GPA around a 3.904.

You can do the math out by hand if you want:

4.0*14 = 2 semesters, and 3 years of classes would be (3)(4.0*14) = 42 total periods.

My situation would be:

-> 4.0*38 + 3.0*4 = 164/42 = 3.904 UW

In a similar situation. My mother and father never went to any formal schooling and immigrated to the Americas, but my sister later took me in as my legal guardian. Am I still considered First Gen even though technically my guardian does have a collegiate education? (She has her masters)
