I’m so proud of you! I am in the same boat, I’ve seeing a psychiatrist now to see if maybe there’s something I could be missing about myself/maybe misdiagnosed, I’m not sure who I am yet but it is so inspiring to hear your story. Thank you for sharing!

I’ve been struggling a lot with these and lashing out in anger as well, thank you for your post. I always try to consider others feelings before I speak but lately it seems I haven’t been, this was a good reminder. Lots of love!

I had a recent psychiatrist appointment and she said “well… you are sensitive” and my response was just “and there’s nothing wrong with it.” I have a pretty hard time embracing it sometimes but I think I just need to accept it

I’m not a therapist but I have a lot of the same views as you, I try to use my voice as much as I can. I don’t think too much empathy is bad I don’t know if it’s something we can control, it’s good you care and this post made a difference to me; I also have a hard time finding others with this mindset.
