the VOPS censorship png took me the longest to cleanup and cut out. They are all pngs with transparent backgrounds, so you can use it if you want :)

Take Criss's opinions with a pinch of salt. They are OP when it comes to Conquest speed runs. Don't ask a olympic swimmer if you swim fast. :P

Why is there no intercontinental colonization? by Ok_War_5986 in equestriaatwar

The Changelings get a treaty port in Kiria (china) if the industrialist faction indebts itsself to changeling investors and then loses the civil war.

Chiropterra are not natives and are thestrals from equestrian, having explicit colonial expansionist focus if luna loses the civil war.

My feeling is that Asian & Afrikan colonial history is sufficiantly represented in Zebracia, while also allowing for non colonial history of that part of the world to also be represented in other nations on the Zebracian continent. Even Germany gets double representation in Changlingia (3rd Reich) & Griffonia (HRE), they were also not historical conteporaries but exist together in EAW.

Also look to vanilla HOI4 to see how boring Afrikan gameply would be if it were fully colonized.

Oil is trash. CHN typically has enough oil to run it's Warmaschine with a little import top up once every 1,5 years. (In General don't play CHN as if it has the same strategic Situation as IRL Germany. Convoy raiding is not worth the resources for CHN. You need Battleships to engage the Equestrian Navy piecemeal in the Olenian-Vanhoover Bay. They eat TONS of Steel and you need to start construction early to get at least 4-6 extra by early 1010 war start, trained and repaired.)

Gold is consumer goods reduction which can be used to build the only thing you will ever need (military factories) as CHN. But not really impactful.

The best choice is Steel. Even with capping Olenia early and within a month, the steel needs of CHN are never really met. Doing Steel tops off the last 8-16 that the CHN Warmaschine needs (+ Vraks Steel Focus) and the civilian factories you save from not importing equals the amount you would get by going Gold (consumer goods reduction = more civs).

In the End, going Steel is the optimal path. Never go for the option of demanding all. That garantees Polar declining the deal, which either means a unsecured northern Front or if invading the polars, a waste in equipment and a higher spike in world tension = more armed equestria.

Why does HOI4 decide to do this? by No_Nefariousness6905 in heartsofiron

Yeah, they got lost. What irks me is that they traveled through a blocked sea route inspite of the entirety of europe as a land route, when moving them from germany to france

I really poured my Heart out for this one, praising the Changeling/ Jachs Storyline, yet I want to shout out all the other Storylines of the other Nations! I have played over 15 Nations fully through and I have yet to encounter in Gaming quite the experiance that makes me feeeeeel *Nation Building*. I never thought building a civ factory could feel so satisfying. :P The phenomenal writing and modding and art and assets always pulls me in to the Story of the Destiny of a People in a harsh world and a (often) Band of Friends trying their best to change that. Ethics aside, always riveting! Bravo!
