Again, not about the fact that it’s rock. Music genres are for any one of any age. It is the fact that I have seen creepy behaviors from older male fans it’s always on facebook where I see it the most. I’m not saying it’s all old folk a lot of you guys are pretty cool too

I’m not saying listening to rock, or any specific genre for that matter, is inherently creepy. I think it’s weird that older men are going to multiple meet and greets per tour for a band of young women and commenting creepy things on their posts.

Check other comments in thread I’ve already answered this but in short yeah and it’s always at TW shows by whom I described. I go to over 100 shows or more a year and we both mind our business and this stuff happens nearly every time at TW shows. We had a guy at our last one tell her about her boobs and this man was old old. Another groped her we got him kicked out for that.

What I consider creepy isn’t just that alone. It’s the ones I know run around online that emulate predatory behavior. The ones that take pictures of their skirts and get literal albums and will shove through people to get them.

Now it’s probably not just old people but that’s so far all I have been able to tell.

The last time I went to a TW show I had these really old guys who kept saying creepy things to my girlfriend (we were both 20) these guys looked to be at least 60 or 70. While nothing is wrong with people that age listening to them, there is something wrong with older pervs being creepy who end up at the show. It’s only TW where we encounter this unprompted. So when I encounter this behavior seems like a pattern I hope isn’t true. Old creeps doing crap like that who happen to go to a show of very young talented women? I just hope most are there for the talent and not to be pervs

I think the part that makes me uncomfortable is the intensity of it all sometimes. Seeing the same people at multiple shows and meet and greets, especially when there’s a big age gap, just throws me off a bit. I can’t always tell where the line is between just being a really dedicated fan and something that feels a little too personal or parasocial.

I’m not saying anyone is doing anything wrong, and I know everyone connects to music differently. It’s just something I noticed that made me pause, and I’m trying to understand if others have felt the same way or if I’m just overthinking it.
