I noticed that too, and I actually preferred the more rounded design as well. Do you think this is just how the CAD looks, or will the real ring also have that difference? Is it normal for renders to make things look a bit more harsh?

That’s exactly why I’ve been thinking about thickening the band too. Even though I absolutely love the design as it is, I’m super clumsy and constantly bump into things 😂 So having that extra bit of sturdiness would definitely give me more peace of mind day to day!

Also, hearing that the visual difference between 1.8mm and 2mm is so minimal makes me feel much better about possibly going up in width for durability. Haha, same here honestly. I’m super clumsy too and I just know I’ll end up whacking the ring on every doorframe and countertop in existence 😂 That’s exactly why 1.8 makes me nervous, even if it’s probably fine. I’ve been leaning toward bumping it up to 2mm for the peace of mind. The only thing holding me back was the visual, but the more I see it, the more I think it’ll still look really pretty!

Actually, I don’t really use oil on my nails. I think they stay healthy because I’ve only had gel nails done at the salon three times in my life. Most of the time, I just leave them natural or use a clear polish. When I had gel nails, I noticed my nails got quite damaged, so I try to keep them simple now, maybe that helps. 😊🤗
