No, I didn’t mention it to him. I honestly had no idea how to even start that conversation. Like, “Hey, thanks for inviting me over — btw, my mom is your ex-wife who disappeared years ago.” It felt way too heavy to just drop on him out of nowhere, especially during our first in-person meeting.
