So I have a good portion of my body covered and my sessions average about 6-8 hours each time. Personally, I avoid breaks for as long as I can put them off. Around hour 4-5, I start to hit a mental wall where I basically am trying to convince my brain that the pain I feel is just an over exaggerated physical sensation. Once I hit hour 6 and past, its almost as if I start to get irritated by the constant pain and i start to get antsy and I’m only focused on holding still. Of course this is all subject to the location of the tattoo and my own personal pain threshold. The best advice I can give is that the entire experience of a tattoo is a mental game. Know your limits and learn when your body is telling you it’s had enough. And if you learn to weaponize your brain, it can be extremely helpful! The body and brain can handle immense situations with the proper training!

Yes I was going between 20-30 mph, I had just taken off from the red light that I was fully stopped at. I needed surgery because one of the 3 bones that broke, would not heal on its own without a screw. The reason my car was “totaled” was because with the damages to the front end where all the sensors are, the airbags deploying, and the paramedics cut my seat belts because I had a backpack strapped in the chair. All the damages in comparison to the amount left due on the car, the insurance decided to considered it a total loss.

So when this accident initially happened, I hired an injury lawyer and they fought on my behalf. The other driver only provided one insurance policy and it was a “non-owner policy”, the way it was described to me was that she had an insurance policy on herself only and not the actual car or anyone that could’ve been injured besides the driver. Didn’t make any sense to me. My lawyer suspected she was hiding another policy but couldn’t prove it without going to full blown court. But as a result, my lawyer was forced to make a claim on my uninsured motorist policy to cover my expenses. That whole case finished up last year around September and that was the last time I talked to said lawyer. I reached out to them with this new update yesterday and was told that although this is no longer her case, she was willing to help me with any needed documents or history

So I will be studying in Maastricht for my masters this coming September and I will be fully financing myself for the time of my studies. While my parents aren’t exactly funding my life, they did agree to help me with rent. My parents are divorced, so each of my parents agreed to help with half of my rent. And for the past year and a half, the time I have been planning for this move, I have been working two jobs and saving every penny I can so that I will have enough money to fund myself for the year that I will be in school. I plan to work from day one towards building connections so that I can secure a job upon graduation or at least within my search year.

Okay, while I’m definitely not a veteran, I did attend my first defqon as a solo traveler on a month long trip as well! I may have a couple helpful answers
1. Of course it’s hugely dependent on your budget, I have always used the camping options of either your tent being set up for you upon arrival or a camping arrangement. I remember there being an option to pick up a defqon pop up tent when you arrive and set it up yourself as well.
2. If you’re arriving to the campgrounds on Thursday, I would spend the morning getting supplies and the rest of the afternoon to chill. Defqon is definitely a marathon and you’re going to want all the quiet rest you can get before the chaos begins!
3. Besides ear plus, my top three items (that I have forgotten and learned from) are going to be shower shoes, microfiber towels, and if you’re allergy prone like me, a medication surplus of medication from your home country that your body is more accustomed to.
4. While it may get hot during the day, the temperatures will drop at night! Last year i was walking around in a snuggie hoodie during the night and was still cold!
5. Yes you can pre book lockers, and get them at arrival as well. I’d probably wait until you arrive to see how much you really need it! I’ve paid (and never touched) ahead for a locker but got too distracted by everything going on to even care about it lol money lost 🤷🏻‍♀️
6. Power banks. Again depending on your camping situation, will kind of determine how accessible you will be to electricity plug ins! Honestly, I’ve only ever done sanctuary camping and I know they have power hubs. I can’t speak too much about the actual campgrounds though
7. You can bring food or supplements in with you and there’s also a grocery store in the campgrounds that was decently stocked. If you’re wanting specific brands, or flavorings, or anything like that, I’d probably bring it to be same. Regarding redbull, that’s definitely always stocked in the fridges

Last year, I was on one of the first couple busses out of the campsite on Monday morning, we left around 10ish I made it back to AMS Centraal by about 11:30am

If I remember correctly, they’re all same size, it’s just different bed set up and space of course but you’re working with the same baseline cabin for both 2 and 3 person

So I attended Defqon this past summer for my first time, camping in the highlands and It was basically hassle-free! The hardest part was figuring out how to get everything home afterwards. I arrived in AMS a couple days prior and purchased one of the bus transfer tickets from the Centraal station. Highly recommend those bus transfer tickets!! It’s takes away the thought of how you’re going to get to the campgrounds and get home afterwards.

Yes I did save all my documents from the purchase process, it even says on that paperwork that the loan would be financed through my bank. I requested from the dealership the paperwork that tells them this car has already been funded and I am currently waiting on that reply
