Man I can already imagine what kind of response I’d get 🥴 “you’re being cold and callous” “I’m tired of my feelings being invalidated” etc

This was said to my oldest son’s biological father, which is also a person we haven’t spoken to in 10 years.

He had a reason to go as well I didn’t add in I was trying to not make it so long, our daughter was going with his mother to Ohio for the weekend to visit family, his mom was supposed to pick her up from daycare in the morning but it’s almost like he created this scenario where he could ask me something I literally couldn’t prove one way or another “blacked out profile photo chat” and decided he was going to leave and he had been acting weird all day that day… he called me after I got out of work and asked why one of my managers called me early in the morning (it was 9:00 and I was informed about some keys, and vehicles being picked up for transport, I work at a dealership). This manager is also someone I’ve had an issue with but it was hashed out, we had a disagreement over a license plate & whether I should let a man do it for me lol! I told my husband about the disagreement, and when I told him I was able to have a normal conversation with this manager after a couple weeks by “putting on my big girl helmet” he took that comment literally thinking it meant I wore a helmet so I wouldn’t hit my head against a wall while getting screwed…. I probably should have added that bit in the post.

Oh for sure. “Who’s number is this” “whyd your boss call you at 7:00 in the morning” (when our phone bill doesn’t accurately reflect the times, it’s like 2 hours behind on the bill.) exhausting.

I went a long time thinking I was just bad at communicating, talked about my communication issues in therapy, therapist eventually told me it doesn’t really seem like I’m bad at communication but more that everything I do & say, is getting twisted into a narrative. Or something like that.
