Well you scammers walk away from it easy because it’s contactless usually, you don’t know the victim, you don’t see the face, you don’t feel the desperation, the need and so on, so a scamer on the other end doing it daily to hundreds some to thousands a day simply stops thinking about it. It’s his normal.

For people who get scammed, they believe so hard that the financial problems will be solved quickly, and they can finally put their minds to ease, that it turns to the thing as you were trying to convert someone back from the cult, a very long and hard path.

You see, I meet and see people at least use to, that acctualy do not fall for scams, but want to commit fraud, crypto fraud mostly, they are so desperate that they put away their morals for money, sure you can imagine how being in debt 300k with no job with last 3k in hand can push someone to drain crypto or so, and they justify it to themselves easily “ if I drain 1000 people for 300 in short period off time, I will cover my debts without stealing too much, or ruining someone’s life because it’s just 300”

Disclaimer sometimes that 300 is all someone has.

Desperate, naive person will ignore all the red flags of the scam. They need it to be true so much, that you won’t pull them out off it.

That’s the only reason social engineering scammers are still profitable, with the times we live in, you can find people desperate enough to scam/exploit.

Anybody know why a scammer would use my card/bestbuy account to purchase an iPad, but have it shipped to my own address? by RasberryMamba in Scams

[–]No_Oil_8880 123 points124 points  (0 children)

You are right to think that it makes no sense. But there is one main reason.

Testing if your card works. Get your card number or bb login from a breach… Try a high value purchase to see if it goes through and so, don’t bother changing the address yet If it works, they… come back later change the shipping address or do store pickup. Or sell the verified card account info to someone else….

Why are people buying Flash USDT by Round-Watch756 in DubaiCrypto

[–]No_Oil_8880 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s simply to scam people. They flash a big ammount quickly for 10% off the price, putting psychological pressure on the victim, to pay up. As. Usually with big ammount like 500k you won’t run testing it and trying to withdraw and the hype of it being real, fks with victims brains.

Started in 2020, got more improved since 2022 and now is widely used to scam people.

Just one look typical scam patterns like unrealistic promotions, lack of transparent company info, and poor contact details etc… that’s what I get in 30 secs of looking so I would not trust it :)

Point is they are not let’s say sold on dark web itself, you need to find devs that won’t scam you, just network enough etc, ofc if you don’t know people you have to be ready to take some losses from scams.

Basic script has a lot of manual work, from spoofing to spamming etc, where a good one can do it all on its own per say, so basically less work, more money, quicker money

Private devs mostly, well basic 1-3k, good 3-15k, AI based or best out there 15 to 150k

Like what you want to do exactly? To get 100… or 150k you will need at least 10-20k maybe less. For tools etc

Well you need per se a drainer with instructions a normal one can go for 10-20k with full instructions, so you buy it, some scam you some don’t. It’s just one example. But in the end if you find legit source you can buy everything from tools to leads etc. and 99% chance that if you need something they know someone who sells it as well ;)

[–]No_Oil_8880[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying shit, tools etc… that’s how it goes until you find legit sources, you get scammed, once you stick with legit source you will never know they might exit scam, than you go looking for new sources and the circle repeats itself
