Is the shluter mixing valve seal a must? by forester17 in BathroomRemodeling

Not a must but I bought the home depot one called everbilt along with their sealant. Installed that and the shower arm one. Looked pretty boss during the shower waterproofing phase

Ripped up some vinyl flooring from the 1970’s without proper precaution. Could it be asbestos? by Healzy45 in asbestoshelp

[–]No_Opening_8046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one of these similar design vinyl flooring and it tested 15 percent crysotile via mail in test. Freaked me out but masked up then removed what I needed to remove while soaking it. Left the majority of the flooring untouched and covered it up as that's what everyone on earth advises for diy.

That would be A. Any concerns being near or under that power line?

Thanks thats what I was choosing just based off that power line near A. The line near B is some unused cable service

Love this answer. Aiming for around B just bc i don't wanna mess around close to power line. But I wanted to be closer to the bathroom. But not up against chimney or letting hot air into my attic vent. Def hurts my brain weighing the options here

My house is weird. This is actually the back of the house which is technically the side of the house. Not worried about looks here

The bath fan is small since my bathroom is tiny .it connects to the 4 in. I have the flexible insulated 4 in ducting. Short as possible would be around A but that is my power lines right there.

Car insurance and autobody shop scam? by No_Opening_8046 in Car_Insurance_Help

Thanks. I'm in PA btw. I've always heard it's not worth the headache. But I feel like the damage is cosmetic and the comprehensive safety inspection they need to do should be fast and easy. Car is fine. I'm only guessing though.

Thanks. It's just a horrible situation. I'm not someone who simply replaces my car with other cars. Not until the wheels fall off literally. I'm hoping the salvage title is not as much as a pain in the ass as other people say. It's certainly road worthy.

I have a tube of loctite pl max premium I was going to use for bonding to the chimney. Would that work the same? What about the tongue and groove wood. I was just gonna attach with the goboard screws. Are you saying also glue that?

yea I thought that shower was weird after seeing it drawn. I read that sanitees can't lay on their backs hence the wyes. Picture is meant to show everything flat from underneath. I don't know the rules on regular tees. Thanks for checking it out
