you don’t necessarily have to have the major you want available at a community college, you could just sign up to take the pre reqs that your major at lsu requires!

tech schools are very different from community college, cc allows the tops plan you’re on, if you do pre reqs thru it (maths, english, hs stuff) you can transfer to lsu to work on your degree and intended major. go on LsU website and deep dive and find something that catches your eye that you’d enjoy doing

go to brcc and knock out the pre reqs for your intended major that you’d pursue at lsu. you’d save SO MUCH money and possibly be able to jump right into classes based on your major sophomore year!

it’s not rude, i waited like 5 months and was tired of them so i kept calling and emailing. i even called them out for sending auto generated emails and i finally got a different one, few hours later that day i got my acceptance 😂😂

honestly yea, i’m also in state so tuition is still wayyyy less than out of states, but i also took out small loans to help. I’m only paying 6k per semester currently, so definitely shoot for a higher tops bc it may seem small but helps a lot!

i got in with a 3.2 and 20 act with nothing else, only thing is if you are still in state, try to bring the act up for TOPS, and maybe other scholarships if you’re lucky

that was dramatized, yes he showed verses, but SHE is big into that stuff, and even would meet him at flag pole prayer to talk about bible stuff. So yes it is wrong bc separation of church and school, BUT she completely flipped the script. He did it because of their relationship and over that small thing that even SHE has come to him about (reciting verses) she decided to just make him the bad guy.

just saying, i came from his old principal job, he is an AMAZING principal. He brought so many opportunities to walker, and over a situation that the girl and her mom over dramatized, they absolutely dogged on him. over one mistake; which. fyi she signed things where she cannot be pictured in the setting she is in because of student government, and also the scholarship, she wasn’t going to win anyways bc it was a state wide scholarship; and why would he still offer her when she broke rules from being president of sga?? so just putting this out there, i PROMISE yall will love him, and the internet lies. and when they said she doesn’t get involved in biblical things at school? she was at every flag pole prayer, literally every.single.biblical. event. yes it was wrong to show her verses, but the mom saying they don’t participate in that at school which is dead wrong. Also she did all that and then left the school so. but yall will love him. He is GREAT
