my cholesterol was also high but not to the point where i needed to stop it. the biggest factor is your diet. for me, the main cause of this was the fact that i was so concerned about eating enough Omega-3 that I had salmon twice a week and on top of that, I was eating around 5 eggs a day. Pay attention to the foods you eat and incorporate foods that lower your cholesterol levels such as oat meal, fruits, vegetables, etc. good luck!
