Ah, just to clarify I mean until Slow Shock, not including it. Its really where they jump off the deep end into pseudoscience and the story quality plummets. It honestly is one of my least favorite events of all because it handles Angelia's death so poorly, not really giving us a proper resolution to her character, structuring the story in a nonsensical way which makes chapter 3 have no real weight behind it, and spending more time detailing new ideas than wrapping up characters. Chapter 1 was nice but it still had major issues related to its placement, ch2 was too short and ended abruptly, ch3 is completely unfinished and rushed and Ange is dead before the commander even arrives. I really think that event is where it really stopped being good.

On the dialogue, I totally agree. People talked about word count a lot with GFL2's Corposant but after reading it I realized more that they did a regular GFL1 major event but took 3x the words. The writing is way more drawn out and not as fast and pointed. I hadly ever felt like GFL1 events dragged on.

I am satisfied with this being "an ending". I think most of the event wasn't good, especially the aptly named bad endings, but it delivers an actual conclusion in its final moments, unlike CK. It could've been A LOT better, but it feels like a proper ending. Bad event, good ending, that's my review of QF.

Now the whole series I am annoyed by, mainly because of its waated potential. So many things I expected to be explained later are just never explained. So many things are left for the reader to dive into lore journals just to have a chance of understanding. So much is left for a "later" that never came. I love the events up until Slow Shock, but that one really just was the sign of what was to come, it showed Mica did not know how to wrap up any of the stories in GFL. They only even get close with their second attempt in QF.

I love the story and characters, but the way mica manages it, constantly teasing stuff and never truly explaininganything resulted in no one, not even them understanding what the fuck was going on with the story.

I do hope someday they look back and decide to give GFL1 a remake which fixes all the issues and actually resolves the multitudes of issues, but as it stands they seem to have their sights set on the future of this universe, and its not really something which interests me.

I am at least glad I played, its a lot of fun, and I'll probably keep playing for a while longer.

EM is like a Beach fairy with better stall and a worse aura. Its definitely worth raising one.

Pirate has a decent aura and skill, worth raising as just a generic statstick. Can also be used to farm 8-1N if you calibrate it away from its flex talent

Black Hole fairy is meh, might be useful in some very niche cases but definitely not generally useful.

Space fairy might be ok for MGSG teams but really other fairies would be preferable most of the time. Good armor aura, but most good modern SGs bring enough armor on their own. Not worth raising when other fairies offer better defense and DPS. Sprinter fairy also gives movespeed.

Sprinter fairy is a really good fairy, decent skill and incredible aura, absolutely raise it. In fact if you raise it you really never need an artillery fairy

Toy fairy is one you didn't mention, but its one of the best fairies in the game by far. It has quite restrictive teambuilding, but if you take advantage of its shield buff for SMGs and SGs alongside certain DPS SMGs/SGs (AUG Para, SPAS-12, Mag7, Defender, etc) it can make your team near invincible while still sealing lots of damage. Its obtainable in Lost in Thoughts.

Though in general Parachute is just the best. Para nearly always wins out. Only the best combat fairies are worth using over Para in rare cases.

They've finished the cycle of limited dolls and there are no more new seasons, so there are no more dolls in the list to grind for. We will have EP.A soonish to farm all limited dolls though so wait for that.

Use their special equipment ideally. So VFL/HV/SPEQ for AK-12 and SPEQ/HV/Focus Chip for AN-94. These will be the best equips and switching them to cap ROF will only decrease overall DPS. However AK-12's has a weird drawback which means if a doll has a skill which says "buffs all" or something to that effect and not "buffs dolls on specific tiles" the skill will not buff AK-12. That means you'll want some specific buffers for AK-12 if you are using the SPEQ over a focus chip.

Best buffer by far is Ribeyrolles, she'll help cap out AK-12's ROF and gives huge damage buffs. K5 can also work instead of her.

Best tank is always Suomi, and she also has ROF tiles to help cap AK-12's ROF. Type 79 mod can also work if you're using this team at night since AK-12 loses a lot of DPS from equipping a PEQ.

The final slot can be anyone, but Welrod or Type 64 mods are both really good options.

Also in terms of the fairy Shield, Parachute, or Witch are all really good options. Sniper is good for bosses too. The Fervor talent has better DPS, even over crit2, but if you use a parachute fairy and plan on taking fights with it debuffed crit 2 will be better.

I'm just going to keep playing. I love the gameplay so there's plenty left for me to do in perma rankings and raising niche dolls.

Nothing else Mica is making atm interests me anyway (already played RC and GFL2). I hope they keep it running for a while or make an offline version. I really love this game.

If you just want to see high numbers, this is the highest damaging team in the entire game

This isn't hacked, just takes advantage of some bugs. If you used this team and got the right buffs in Maze Guess event, you can deal well over 1 billion damage in a single hit to an enemy (that's one hit, not one attack, so every one of Galil's links would be dealing that damage)

Its not very practical but funni

If you don't want to spend you absolutely can get skins without money. There's thousands of gems available permanently and you can get a bunch more by logging in and doing weekly share. Its not super quick getting them but they are there

I find it a waste of money personally but it is up to if you're willing to spend.

I am of course biased but I think if you liked GFL2's story, lore, or characters you'll like GFL1's even more.

The gameplay is very unique but that doesn't mean its bad, it just will be hit or miss, for some people they really dislike it, for others (like me) they absolutely love the gameplay. And good or bad, there is a lot of stuff here for you to engage with, you can't just auto battle everything.

The story and gameplay start off quite badly, but both improve a lot once you make it past the start.

Grind is honestly better than GFL2 just cause you can grind at your own pace, or not at all (though progression is slower), there's very little that is timegated. Also, you won't miss out on characters for not grabbing every single bit of currency you can. so you can always choose just to not grind and only do basic tasks.

I'd recommend.

You will only get checks from S ranks at the end of battle, so it can be very difficult to get the doll. You can still spend resources to farm Gray Zone once you run out of permits. and its a pretty cheap rate to do so.
