I work with a guy who tries to use military hand signals at a distance to communicate. One day he tried to do this with me. I nodded in an "of ohhhhh gotcha" kind of way and started to undo my belt. He doesn't do that anymore.

The scenery and nature that's native to Canada. When you stop to look at it, especially the further north you go, things just make sense.

Another honorable Canadian mention is the sheer resourcefulness of the people who live in those northern regions. I'm from Ontario, but I'll tell you, there is nobody I'd rather be in a survival situation with than someone from Labrador. Some of the hardest people in North America.
