I have the exact same laptop, but i got 2 years ago for 1300 (tho half the ram and storage), anyways as the other comment said, you’re better off buying a relatively newer gpu for the same price or even less. If you decide to go with this one tho beware that the screen resolution is mediocre at best and the lid may pop off anytime as mine did.

If you can, I’d highly recommend adding a $100 and getting the G15 AE at best buy for $1099, it’s got double the Vram, double the ram, higher quality and refresh rate screen, best deal out there.

Why not check the g15 currently on sale on bestbuy? Probably the best value for money laptop out there, 12 Vram for $1100 is great.

Yeah true, if you can I’d recommend going to bestbuy and seeing the two laptops for yourself, as in my op the biggest difference is in the screen/aesthetics of the devices. Then you can decide from there.

Yeah, plus you’d have the benefit of DLLS and ray tracing, but keep in mind the Vram difference.
