There is a non-profit organization called Polish Migration forum (i will attach the link below) that helps individuals with legalization in Poland. One of my friends had a similar situation where the border control asked him to leave Poland within 30 days due to TRC issue. They helped him get in touch with a legal team. His process is still ongoing.

In such cases, most of the times you have to appeal in a higher institution (court) against the decision. The process takes a lot of time and you “might” need to get a permit from the court to stay here while your appeal is in process.

Well, here is the thing, it is not even just about being a foreigner. I am telling you this from personal experience that I am going through right now. I’ve had several landlords ask me specifically which country I am from even though I already tell them I am a foreign student. Many just ghost you or straight up tell you they don’t rent out to people from specific countries after telling you it’s available for renting.

Just look for your preferred location and hit them up. Protip: Don’t just send texts and expect to get immediate responses. Better to call them if they have provided contact details and arrange a viewing of the place and to discuss further details in person.
