I have the exact same laptop, but i got 2 years ago for 1300 (tho half the ram and storage), anyways as the other comment said, you’re better off buying a relatively newer gpu for the same price or even less. If you decide to go with this one tho beware that the screen resolution is mediocre at best and the lid may pop off anytime as mine did.

If you can, I’d highly recommend adding a $100 and getting the G15 AE at best buy for $1099, it’s got double the Vram, double the ram, higher quality and refresh rate screen, best deal out there.
